This year the Meeroos® team will be participating in the Samhain Autumn faire by Ebudae Events! The event features many different vendors and even a few other breedables all showcasing Halloween and fall themed wares and attire with most items L$100 or less. The event starts 10/19/13 and ends on 10/31/13. We have an awesome cute free gift and some cute discounted things for 100L!

Oh no! Our helper roos seemed to dropped our candy filled pumpkins all over the grid this year when we asked them to help us decorate, those silly roos!

If you'd like to help us recover all of our missing pumpkins, we're willing to reward you with a prize!

We're having a grid wide Pumpkin Hunt October 1-31 2013. The fun starts @ ROO where you pick up your cauldron before starting your journey to recover our lost candy filled pumpkins. Once you finish discovering them all you return to ROO to collect your prize!

Thank you all for coming out and making our Talk Like A Pirate day parties amazing! Despite first mate Tiger somehow managing to not only sink our ship but also set it on fire, we were still able to get 24 treasure chests off of it in time for pirate trivia! We hope you all enjoy your Pollys! There were soooo many beautiful costumes there, which made choosing the top pirate costume even harder! It is no wonder our first party had a tie for best costume.

Hoist up yer sails, straighten yer eye patches, lock up yer booty and sail on down to ROO on SEPTEMBER 19th 2013 for arr first ever Talk Like A Pirate Day party! We will be havin' a special surprise guest during arr Pirate Trivia, Polly The Pirate! And don't ya be forgettin' to join our Pirate Costume Contest! We'll be expecting ya salty dogs to dust off yer finest pantaloons, polish yer buckles and remember to have yer weekly bath.(whether ye need it or not!) It should come as no surprise to you all that cats hold a special place in the hearts of most of us on the Meeroos team. It should be even less of a surprise that our very own Mr. Tiger loves them even more than most! That is why this year in honor of his birthday we have decided to host a fundraiser event for one of his favorite cat rescue groups, Big Cat Rescue.

Big Cat Rescue works very hard to take care of neglected, abused and abandoned big cats. 100% of their donations go directly to the care of their cats and to help stop abuse. Located in Tampa, Fl they have built a big cat sanctuary giving these cute creatures more space to roam then their abusers offered.

We decided to focus on one of their rescues named Amazing Grace. She is an ocelot who was saved in 1996 by BCR. We will have ocelot statues and a paint set available during the fundraiser to help raise awareness to their cause as well as raise much needed funds to keep these cats cared for and safe. We will be having a party to end our fundraising event this Friday with trivia and BCR inspired items. The event will last a week and 100% of the purchases and donations made directly to the specially marked vendors will go to Big Cat Rescue at the end of the event. New Diurnal Costume for SL10B !!

You may have seen this little guy around before, like in our Meeroos® Adventurer Backpack, and we often get questions on this coat. Our SL10B exhibit this year shows the progression of the Meeroos® from early concept art up to where we are now in Chapter Two. We never really had a reason before to release this texture set, because it never fit into the lore with it being the original Ancient coat. This was the very first coat painted by Chimeric for the Meeroos® before even alpha testing. The purpose was to a) have a coat to test the code and b) show off some concept ideas on various markings. It was deemed a little too exciting to be a starter coat for the diurnals at the time, so it never made it as a production coat. But we thought it would be fun to release as a paintset for everyone to enjoy during SL10B!

The Home & Garden expo and the Breedables Fair have finally come to a close for this year. Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support for finding a cure and spreading awareness!

Wilma Philbin was this year's winner for both of the OOAK statues we donated to the home & garden expo and the breedables fair silent auctions.

for those of you who couldn't make it to the event or missed it... in the next day or two we will set out RFL vendors on Roo with some of the items from the event so that everyone has a chance to pick up any items they missed out on!

It's RFL time again!

This time we've OVERLOADED with goodies and sights to see! There are two hunts going on (Home & Garden side and then The Breedables Fair side.) Two silent auctions that we have donated OOAK (one of a kind) statues to. And then of course there is The Breedables Hall of Fame. But, we haven't even got around to telling you about where you can find Meeroos yet!
